Five to be Inducted into Business Hall of Fame at Chamber Annual Meeting
Five distinguished businesspersons will be honored at the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Meeting and Business Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 11:30 a.m. at The Ambiance. The Class of 2012 will include Carl E. Merkel, president of Merkel's Inc.; George H. and Charlotte H. Spear, owners of Hansen-Spear Funeral Home; John G. Stevenson Sr., partner in the Stevenson Paxton Wealth Management Group now affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors; and Dr. Walter M. Whitaker, co-founder of the Quincy Clinic. Reservations are now being taken for the event, which is open to the public. Cost is $20 per person. Call 222-7980 by Friday, Jan. 13. |
