Question: How do I get rid of bats in my attic?

Answer: Do you think you know the potential danger of bats occupying your living space?  Chris Hanlin of Hanlin’s Wild Animal Removal clears up misconceptions in this interview.
There are 2 main concerns when dealing with bats in your living space.  Firstly, the potential of a bite or a scratch from a bat is very hazardous.  The chances of an adult getting bitten or scratched are slim but occurrences are more frequent in pets or children.  Secondly, bat droppings or guano carry an airborne disease that affect human’s respiratory system.  Full health risks and effects can be found on the website of Center For Disease Control at http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/nas/RDRP/appendices/chapter6/a6-133.pdf
If you find a bat in your living space, chances are there are more than one in your house.  “I have never gone into a house and only removed one bat,” says Hanlin.  Many times people mistake bat dropping for mice droppings and they may not know they have a case of bats in their house.  They assume that because they haven’t seen them in their attic, they don’t have bats living in their home.  In fact, bats live in walls, soffits and can enter a house through a crack the width of a pencil.
Needless to say, if you have any indication that these animals are living in your home, it is better to be safe than sorry and call a professional for an inspection and removal.

Answer:  With remote access, you, the customer are able to watch the entire process on your computer as it happens.  You are also able to close out my access at any time.  On the other hand, when you take your computer into the box stores for repair, they have access to all your computer files without your knowledge.
